Movie Monday: Deck the Halls

Favorite Christmas movie of all time is definitely Deck the Halls. If you haven't seen this movie, you need to go to the store and pick you up a copy.
Okay in reality it isn't that good of a movie, but I don't know why watching this movie completes my Christmas. It is about a man who lives a normal life, but is obsessed with Christmas. He gets a new neighbor and they do this whole fighting thing the whole movie over celebrating Christmas. It ends with them having a Christmas lights battle sorta.
Deck the Halls has some really good stars in the movie. Danny Devito who is from Matilda and Matthew Broderick who play Ferris Bueller in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, play the fighting neighbors. Their wives are played by Kristin Davis and Kristin Chenoweth who I am a big fan of.
This movie makes me laugh every time and I definitely recommend it to everyone. I want to know what your all time favorite Christmas movie is.

Tunes Tuesday: Last Christmas

My favorite Christmas song is Last Christmas which is originally done by Wham!. This is a very popular cover song. Some of the cover artists include, Ashley Tisdale, Billie Piper, Hilary Duff, Crazy Frog, The Maine, and Taylor Swift. That is just a third of the famous artists who have covered this song.
My favorite cover of the song is Taylor Swift's version, it has more of a pop feel then Wham!'s version and it's a very fun song to blast and sing along to.
If you are not a fan of Taylor Swift there is a girl I watch on YouTube name Bailie who does a cover of Taylor Swift's version of Last Christmas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dE3EfRjf8E Bailie's YouTube name is Pawsonmagic and you should definitely check her out. Last Christmas is probably my favorite cover that she has done. I even think it's better then Taylor Swift's version.
I want your thoughts on the song and your favorite cover of Last Christmas.

Fashion Friday: Christmas Sweaters

Winter means all sorts of things, one of the things being Christmas sweaters, which nobody looks forward to. This year I have seen a bunch of cute Christmas sweaters. No they don't have flickering lights or a laughing reindeer. They are very simple, but still festive and I am definitely going to have to get one of these sweaters.
  1.

  2.

  3.

Each are different and not tacky Christmas. My favorite is the last one, but it is more expensive out of the three. I love love sweaters during the winter. You wear it over a pair of leggings(if the sweater is long enough to cover you) and you are all set.
I hope you like these sweaters. I found them on Wanelo.com it is a very cool fun website for shopping. This is my link for Wanelo.com http://wanelo.com/omgitsmesammy

Reading Wednesday: Thirteen Reasons Why

Jay Asher is one of my favorite writers. His writing is easy to follow, but also very much in depth of that person's life or what the book is about.
My favorite book by Jay Asher is Thirteen Reasons Why. Thirteen Reasons Why is about Hannah Baker who committed suicide. She sends out a package of cassette tapes each with a message to one person who had betrayed or hurt her in one way. Clay Jensen is who the book is mostly about. Clay Jensen listening to the tapes and his relationship with Hannah Baker.
This book is a very interesting read because crazy things happen. You find out what the thirteen people did to Hannah Baker to make her commit suicide and also what Clay Jensen had to do with Hannah's suicide.
Thirteen Reasons Why is going to be made into a movie with Selena Gomez playing Hannah Baker. I'm very excited to watch this movie, although I already know that the book is going to much better then the movie. Cause books usually are.
Another good Jay Asher read is the Future of Us.

Tunes Tuesday: Mistletoe by Justin Bieber

Last year Justin Bieber came out with a Christmas album featuring the song Mistletoe.
This is a very cute Christmas song, Justin is singing about missing all of the Christmas traditions because he is waiting underneath the mistletoe for his girl.
Now I am not a die hard Justin Bieber fan, so I went onto YouTube last year to try and find other talented singers covering this song.
I am a big fan of Cimorelli it is a group of 6 sisters who are great at harmonizing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOyBqO7SVe8 that is a link to the group singing Mistletoe by Justin Bieber. I love this video it shows the girls personality and their little brother Joey plays a great Santa.
Another one is Ebony Day's cover here is a link to her video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-3ZzDvd50g  I like Ebony Day's version best because of the tempo of the song is a little different then the original.
That's all I have for Mistletoe covers, but I want y'all to go to YouTube and find your favorite Mistletoe cover and post it in the comments. I will watch all of them.

Movie Monday: Elf

Okay so for the month of December I am going to be doing a lot of Christmas themed things. I apologize if you don't celebrate Christmas, but I hope you still enjoy.
Today I am talking about Elf. One of the world's favorite Christmas movies of all time.
Elf is about Buddy the Elf, he was raised in the North Pole with Santa. Until Buddy figures out he was adopted and goes to New York to find his real father. Buddy tries to bring Christmas cheer to all of the world and his father.
I love this movie and I watch it at least once every Christmas. It is so funny and cute, it is also a great family movie. Buddy the Elf is played by Will Ferrell and you know it's going to be very funny with Will Ferrell as the main man. Starring along side Will Ferrell is one of my favorite actresses Zooey Deschanel.
If you haven't seen this movie or even if you haven't go watch it and always remember. The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!

Fashion Friday: Fit Me Foundation

Okay guys I have some good news for everyone out there. I have been using the Cover Girl foundation clear skin or something to that effect. I wasn't a huge fan of this stuff because it was very heavy on my skin, but I ran out so I tried the new Maybelline Fit Me foundation. I have to tell you this is the greatest foundation I have tried so far. It is very light it goes on more smooth and I can barely feel it when it's on my face. I love this foundation because it has great converge on my skin because unfortunately I wasn't blessed with flawless skin.
Now all I need is a great bronzer to go with this foundation and then I'm all set.
My shade is 135 and it blends in nicely with my skin tone. It irritates me when my neck and face are different colors. A tip for you if your face does not match your neck after putting on foundation. When you are applying your foundation rub it in underneath your chin. Same with bronzer or powder, and I also run my powder down my neck a little to make my skin look nice and even.

Theme Thursday: The Pretty Committee

Okay now I have already talked about Massie Block. Today I am going to talk about the rest of the girls in the Pretty Committee. My favorites and least favorites.
First is the beta who wants nothing more, but to be alpha and take over the Pretty Committee. Alicia Rivera, the richest in the PC. She loves to tell and hear gossip and eventually she is the made the morning announcer at OCD.
Then there is Dylan Marvil, her mother has her own talk show. Dylan has two annoying sisters, but Dylan doesn't fit in with her family. Unlike the rest of the Marvils, Dylan likes to eat and burp.
Kristen Gregory is the poor girl in the book series. She acts as if she fits in with the rest of the PC, she wears designer clothes and acts like she lives in a fancy expensive place. The PC finally figures out Kristen's secret in the beginning of the series. Kristen plays sports and is very intelligent.
Last, but definitely not least is the new girl from Florida  Claire Lyons. Claire moves into the Block's guest house, which helps Claire become good friends with Massie and the rest of the PC. Claire in the only member of the PC who has a friend who isn't a PC member. Layne Abeley is the weird girl at OCD, but Claire's best friend. Cam Fisher is Claire's boyfriend for pretty much the whole book series.

Reading Wednesday: The Carrie Diaries

The Carrie Diaries is one of my favorite recent reads. I love Candace Bushnell's writing, it's fun, but she writes as if she was there.
Candace Bushnell is the author of Sex in the City. Carrie Diaries is about Carrie Bradshaw in high school. It is a series (I think), as of right now there are two books out The Carrie Diaries and Summer in the City. Carrie Bradshaw is a fun senior with best friends (who aren't in Sex in the City which I thought was weird). Sebastian Kydd is Carrie's love interest in the book. He is the regular new bad boy to the school.
I really liked the Carrie Diaries and I started the Summer in the City, but couldn't get into it. So when I read that one I will definitely tell you how it is.
Definitely give this book a shot and before January 14 because that is when the Pilot episode of The Carrie Diaries airs on the CW.

Sup guys Samm's brother Chris here. Today I'm going to tell you why you need to check out the greatest British band You Me At Six.
I've been in to them since about 2008 but until about a year ago is when I really got into them. You Me At Six is five lads from Weybridge, Surrey and the band formed in 2004. While being a big deal in the UK, the guys struggled on some of the past Warped tours that they played. Although this past 2012 Warped Tour they drew in some pretty big crowds and have really had some big jumps in the U.S.A for fans.
I went to this past tour got to meet the YMAS lads and when I saw their set I ended up crowd surfing for the first time. It was a really sick experience. I really do suggest that anyone reading this go check these guys out. They have three studio albums(1. Take Off Your Colours, 2. Hold Me Down, 3. Sinners Never Sleep) and all are different, but still have the You Me At Six sound that everyone loves to hear.
The first album i suggest people to check out is Hold Me Down. I believe that this album is their most radio friendly record. My favorite song by the band has to be Jealous minds Think Alike off the Take Off Your Coulours record.
I hope you have all enjoyed this brief blog on You Me At Six. If you are in the London area on December 8th then go to Wembley Arena and watch YMAS Final Night Of Sin show. Or be like me and order the live DVD from that nights show.

 Keep the Vibe Rockin

Movie Monday: Silver Linings Playbook

Happy Monday everyone. I'm sorry about my absence this past week, but I am back and today I am telling you about my new movie obsession. Silver Linings Playbook is the one. I went to see it this past week and I was very excited to see the movie. For two reasons: Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. I am in love with these two and this is my favorite movie from both of them.
Silver Linings Playbook has comedy and drama. I'm not sure what genre this is classified as, but in my few I would put it in the dark comedy. Which makes no sense at all, but go watch the movie and tell me what genre you should put this movie in.
Now this movie is about Bradley's Cooper character Pat just comes back from a mental institute. Where he served time for almost beating a man to death after finding him in the shower with his wife. Pat meets Jennifer Lawrence's character, Tiffany who knows Pat's ex wife, after agreeing to a deal Pat has to perform with Tiffany at a dance competition.
My favorite part of the movie was Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper's on set chemistry. It was perfect and felt real.
Tell me what you thought of the movie down below in the comments.

Show Sunday: Full House

If you were anything like me when you were growing up you wanted to be a Tanner. After school I would come home and watch that show until it was time for me to go to gymnastics.
Full House is a sitcom about the Tanner family, DJ, Stephanie, Michelle were being raised by their dad, uncle Jesse, and dad's best friend Joey after their mothers death. Throuhout the series which consisted of 8 seasons you meet different characters. Jesse's wife and kids, DJ's best friend Kimmy Kibler who lives next door and Steve DJ's boyfriend for some time.
This show is a great family show, full of laughs and tears and even some moments that every family goes through now and again.
I love all 8 seasons of this show, but later on in the series it does start to get better. The characters develope and get older and their acting does get better.
The end of this series was a little dissappointing just like any series finale of a really good show would be. Unfortunately the cast never got back together do have a reunion show which is sad, because I love when shows do that. I think Full House should have a reunion episode just to see what the characters are doing.
Go watch this show if you haven't already and tell me your thoughts about it below in the comments.

Theme Thursday: The Clique Movie

Lisi Harrison made a clique movie about the first Clique book. The Clique movie is basically the same thing the first book is. You meet Claire Lyons and the rest of the Pretty Committee. Massie Block is a total snob to everyone that isn't in her clique.
The movie is good, but the acting isn't the great. It kind of seems like this is all of the main actresses first movie. The unknown actors and actresses was actually something I liked about this movie. This movie wasn't a big expensive production, but it definitely represents the Clique book very well.
I would recommend reading the book series before you watch the movie, if you are interested in this movie at all.

Fashion Friday: Max Factor Vivid Impact Mascara

I have been using Max Factor Vivid Impact Mascara for some time now and I have loved this product. In the picture above the blue color looks like a bright royal blue, when in reality or at least the one I have is a navy blue.
The color is really pretty on my eyes. When you finish your look off with the pink highlighting topcoat your lashes look long and fierce.
Before I used this product I used the Maybelline Great Lash mascara, which I didn't hate, but the Maybelline mascara seem to go on my lashes very clumpy. Where as the Max Factor mascara's brush has a bunch of little bristles which is perfect for your lashes to go on without clumping.
My mom got me this product at Albertson's which was closing down and she got it for very cheap. I have looked online on Sephora and Max Factor's websites. The only place I can find this product is on Amazon, for about $5 without shipping, total it won't be anymore then $10.

I read about half the book series until the movie came out, I thought Massie's name was pronuced like Macey, but it's actually pronouced Masse. Very interesting name choice, but it fits Massie's character very well.

Tunes Tuesday: American Heart

"And it beats like a drum down in New Orleans
Sings like a Motown melody
It dreams like California
Bigger than the Texas sky
It bleeds
It scars
But it shines when times get hard
And you can’t break an American heart"
Faith Hill has never been one of my favorite country singers, but now with her new single American Heart I can't make up my mind. American Heart is Faith Hill's new single off her album Illusion.
I like the lyrics throughout the whole song, but Faith Hill's voice is very squeaky and annoying. I wish that Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, or Jana Kramer would have American Heart was their single as oppose to Faith Hill.
I want your opinion on Faith Hill's new song and voice down below in the comments.

Movie Monday: The Hunger Games

"May the odds be ever in your favor!"
The Hunger Games is one of the most popular movies this year. It is a about 12 districts sending one boy and one girl to fight to the death. Katniss volunteers as tribute for her little sister Primrose. Peeta is the boy from district 12 that joins Katniss to try and live throughout the whole Hunger Games.
I am a huge fan of this movie and cannot wait for the two following, Mockingjay and Catching Fire.
The movie is full of action and suspense, even a little romance throughout the movie. There isn't really any flaws in this movie besides that after seeing it twice it's one of those movies that I don't want to see again. I have this problem with a bunch of movies. If it has a lot of suspense and really draws me in the first time I see it, the second and third time it is very boring and dull.
My favorite character is Katniss she is so talented with a bow and arrow and has really pretty hair. The weirdest part in the movie is when you see the people at the hunger games, not the kids, but the adults watching the hunger games.
If you haven't already seen this movie definitely go check it out, and check out the books as well.

Show Sunday: Hart of Dixie

I just finished the first season of Hart of Dixie on Netflix and I have enjoyed this show so much.
Hart of Dixie is about a surgeon named Zoe Hart, after being rejected for a surgeon position she moves to Blue Bell, Alabama and takes over at her dead father's town doctor's office. After dealing with the town's sweetheart Lemon who hates Zoe, Zoe makes friends with Lavon Hayes, the town mayor, Wade, her neighbor, and George, who is Lemon's fiance.
Now the season starts out pretty good, with the first few episodes having the same type of plot line. Throughout the season you see Zoe develops feelings for George who is getting married to Lemon. Wade has feelings for Zoe, Lavon has feelings for Lemon. This whole show has a bunch of different love interests with different people going on.
The last episode of the season frustrates me and I don't want to give anything away so I won't tell you what happens, but let me tell you it's not what I wanted to see. Hopefully season 2 will make everything better.
Make sure to watch Hart of Dixie which is on CW or you can catch up with the first season on Netflix.

Samm's Saturday: Nicholas Sparks

Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors, he is also very well known. Nicholas Sparks has  written many famous books such as, A Walk to Remember, The Last Song, Dear John, The Lucky One, Safe Haven, and of course The Notebook.
I have read The Last Song, Dear John, and The Lucky One so far and all those movies plus the movie A Walk to Remember. Every single one of these books were phenomenal, the movies of course do not compare, but no movies ever do. The only thing I do not like is that something bad always happens at the end. Something that doesn't make the story a happy ending.
My favorite book was The Last Song and my least favorite book was Dear John. My favorite Nicholas Sparks movie was A Walk to Remember.
I'm adding Safe Haven and The Notebook to my reading list and will let you know my thoughts after they are read.
Let me know what your favorite Nicholas Sparks book is, and also I want to know if you watch the movies before or after you read the book.

Fashion Friday: CoverGirl Lipslicks

Alright so I don't know about you, but I cannot stand sticky lip gloss. I get really irritated and then end up taking off the shiny lip gloss leaving my lips dry and dull. So I have been on the hunt for a shiny lip gloss that doesn't give me sticky lips.
I tried the Cover Girl Lipslicks now it is more of a lip stick by it has more of a glossy feel to it when you put it on, which I love. The pros of this product are that you only have to apply one product instead of a lip stick and then a lip gloss, but the con is that the lipslicks don't seem to last long.
I have purchased two colors in the lipslicks first was Princess it's a dark pink color and I think it's the left one in the picture above. Then I ran out of Princess and when I was at the store to purchase it again I couldn't find it I decided on Clear instead. Now when you think of Clear lipstick you would think it doesn't have a tint, but it does have a tint and it's a very light bright pink color. When you are purchasing these colors remember they are more of a lip gloss so if you see a bright pink one it won't look to crazy on your lips.

Theme Thursday: The Clique Books

Alright this month with it being my birthday month I have decided to write about my favorite book series. The Clique Series by Lisi Harrison, author of Monster High and The Alphas.
Now kicking things off you probably want to know what The Clique books are about.
Massie is the Alpha at OCD short for Octavian Country Day, Massie and her four best friends all make up the Pretty Committee. Kristen, The poor jock, Dylan the red head who loves to eat, Alicia the rich Beta who wants to run the Pretty Committee, and then there is Claire, she is the new girl and at first starts out on the bottom of the social ladder, but soon she and Massie become best friends.
Now I did start this series when I was 13 and with the series having a total 21 books, including the Cliquetionary, which is a book on the slang of The Clique characters.
Now my favorite book in the Clique series is book number 5 called The Pretty Committee Strikes Back. Now the books are very hard to describe, but I like this book the best because it kept me reading(like them all). The Pretty Committee Strikes Back is filled with drama and fun.
My least favorite book was probably the 11th book in the series, The prequel of the series called The Clique: Charmed and Dangerous. I picked this one as my least favorite because I feel like this one is when Lisi Harrison started going downhill with this series.
I do hope you read the series or maybe if you are to old for the series you get it for a little girl going into middle school, because I know this was really fun to read in middle school.

Weirdo Wednesday: Facebook Punishments

Okay so usually on Weirdo Wednesday I talk about a weird celebrity, but this week I am changing it up and talking about real people doing really weird things.
Now a while back we heard about a dad who shot his daughter's computer because she was talking bad about her parents on her Facebook page. I think that is the craziest way to punish your kid no matter what they say about you on their social networking sites. Because if you think about it he probably bought that laptop for her and what is shooting her computer going to do. I don't have children, but if my parents were that crazy I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have learned my lesson.
A new story came out that parents posted embarrassing pictures of them on the daughter's Facebook page. They took away her phone and took 10 photos of them doing embarrassing things then posted them on her Facebook.
I think that these parents think that they are being silly and cool when in reality they need to actually become parents and punish their kids.
I don't know, what do you think of this whole Facebook being a new form of punishment for parents?

Tunes Tuesday: Kina Grannis

Kina Grannis is one of my favorite singers of all times, mostly because I have been to two of Kina Grannis' shows and after each one she does a meet and greet, during the show Kina talks to you and laughs and the last time she told a joke. Kina Grannis got her start on YouTube covering songs then started releasing her original songs. Now with 5 albums under her belt, Kina Grannis is in the process of writing album number 6.
My favorite song of Kina's is Strong Enough. I first heard it on YouTube, it was actually the first Kina Grannis song I heard. Kina Grannis is a talent on guitar and her ukele. On Stairwells the most recent album of Kina Grannis, there are three covers. Disturbia by Rihanna, Ths Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel, and White Winter Hymnal by Fleet Foxes. My top pick out of the three of those covers is Disturbia, much better then the original.
If you're interested in Kina Grannis' other songs my favorites are, Another Day and People off of the Sincerly, Me album. Back to Us, The Goldfish Song, and Cambridge all of those are off the Stairwells album.
If you like acoustic songs that have meaningful lyrics, check out Kina Grannis and be sure to let me know your favorite Kina song.

Movie Monday: The Amazing Spiderman

I am not of fan of the original Spider-Man movies featuring Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, but when I saw Emma Stone would be playing Spider-Man's leading lady in the new Spider-Man movie that comes out of Blu Ray and DVD November 9th, I was very happy and I had to go see it in theaters.
The Amazing Spider-Man is a little different then the original Spider-Man that was released 2002. Peter Parker tries to figure out why his parents disappear, he ends up at his dad's old partner Dr. Curt Connors. Peter is bitten by a spider and later develops Spider like powers. Peter Parker starts to help do good with his powers by stopping criminals and trying to make New York a better place, but the head police officer hates Spider-Man and does everything in his power to get rid of the guy behind the red mask. Peter Parker falls for Gwen Stacy played by Emma Stone, who is the police officers daughter.
Now my favorite parts of the movie are when Spider-Man is trying to find a certain bad guy who wears black and robs stores. You laugh a lot, but you also cry(well at least I did, a little bit).
The new Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield is awkward, but in a hilarious way and I feel like he plays Peter Parker's character very well. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone have chemistry off and on set, so what more could you ask for.
I can't wait for this to come out on DVD and I really can't wait for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which is set to come out in 2014.
Tell me your thoughts on the movie down below in the comments!

This show is a classic, it was big on ABC from 1993 to 2000. Boy Meets World follows Cory Matthews starting the first season, Cory is in 6th grade and the series ends in season 7 with Cory Matthews in college.
Throughout the series your favorite characters, Shawn(Cory's best friend since episode one), Eric(Cory's brother), Mr. Feeny(Cory's teacher throughout the series) and of course Topanga(Cory's soul mate) are always there for Cory when he is down or wants to get in trouble.
Boy Meets World is one of my favorite shows of all time, it's so funny and sweet. I like all of the seasons specially when Cory, Shawn, Topanga, and Eric so off to college. Season 5 is where Angela(Shawn's true love) and Jack(Shawn's half brother) come in, then in Season 6 Rachel(Eric and Jack's roommate at one time) comes in. The whole group are close, but still have their ups and downs.
My favorite character of all besides Eric the funny one, or Topanga the pretty one, or Cory the awkward one. My favorite is definitely Mr. Feeny, although Mr. Feeny is the Matthews mean old neighbor and a teacher at the middle school, high school, and college Cory attends. Mr. Feeny always says something to help heal or help his students, and you see throughout the series Eric and Mr. Feeny have the closest relationship out of this tight group.
Now although this show is sweet and helpful at times, if you are having a bad day and need a good laugh watch Boy Meets World, it will cure you instantly.

Samm's Saturday: Quotable Movies

Wow, I almost have 800 views! Thank you so much that is so big to me, so thank you!
Okay now I don't know about y'all, but I love movies. How do I figure out what my favorite movie is, you ask, well I will tell you.
The reason I love a certain movie is if that movie is quotable. If you can quote the same movie lines over and over again without them getting old then you know it is a good movie.
These are some of my favorite movies with my favorite quote from that movie(it is hard to pick just one). Now before I tell you the movies I want you to know I love movies for more then just them being quotable, but that is a great reason.

  1. Just Friends- Yeah ten years ago back when I was a whale!
  2. Little Rascals- if we were your kids we would punish ourselves.
  3. Mean Girls- I'm sorry that people are so jealous of me, but I can't help it that I'm popular
Now these are more comedy films, but I am into all types of movies, so to widen my variety I will be watching any movie thrown my way, comedy, action, drama, romance, sci fi, thriller, and horror. In two weeks on Movie Monday I'll be doing a review on one of those movies.
So how do I find that lucky movie? Well I'll tell you how, all you readers post your favorite movie quote down below in the comments with the movie title. Then I'm going to choose the best quote and watch that movie, in a couple weeks I'll review that movie for y'all.
Now if you don't know how to comment on this blog other ways to contact me are Facebook, Twitter, or you can email me. All of those thing you can find at the top under contact me and the email is under contact in about me.

Fashion Friday: Icons

Today I am talking about fashion icons, everyone has one or even more then one.
My fashion icon is the star of the CW TV show Gossip Girl. Blake Lively stars in Green Lantern and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
I choose Blake Lively as my fashion icon, because she is always put together and looks beautiful whether she is grocery shopping, on the red carpet winning awards, or even when she is reading lines on Gossip Girl.
These are my top two Blake Lively looks. I would also like to hear about your fashion icon below in the comments.

Theme Thursday: Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars is a show about four best friends who start getting texts and letters from a stalker that goes by A. In the past seasons, one A was revealed and put in a psych ward. The person that everyone thought killed Ali was found dead and the other one was put in jail and later let out. The four best friends try and find out what really happened the night their friend was killed, and who A is.
The Pretty Little Liars show is not as good as the books, but the show is getting better every episode. I don't like the show because they will just go in circles, not telling you who A is, who Ali's killer is. Finally in the season finale last season another A was revealed, and on the Halloween special Garrett was killed.
I am pretty sure that there are at least 3 As, Toby, Mona, and my next guess is it's probably one of the little liars.
Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer go through a lot in one episode, with A, their families, and their love lives, but at least they are well dressed. That is definitely my favorite thing about the show, the fashion.
Not sure what is going to happen next when the show comes back in January, but I have a feeling that another A will be revealed, and it's not gonna be who we expect.
Tell me your thoughts on the show down below.

Weirdo Wednesday: Honey Boo Boo

Today on this Wednesday I am changing things up a little bit, instead of one person I am focusing on a family the Thompson family, from the TLC hit show Honey Boo Boo Child.
Honey Boo Boo is a little girl named Alana Thompson, originally on the TLC show Toddlers and Tiaras. Alana and the rest of her family are a group of white trash people who are looking for fame and fortune in every way possible.
I tried to watch the TV show and it was disgusting, the family is just gross and disgusting. I turned it off after about 10 minutes of it.
Many people have raved about the show and talked about how amazing and funny it is, but the family makes it gross. It's kinda sad because Alana can't be older then 6 and I don't like her, mostly because of how she is raised.
What do you think of the Thompson family? Tell me down below in the comments

Tunes Tuesday: Die Young by Ke$ha

Kesha disappeared for a while after her last single Blow, blew up the charts. Now Kesha is back with a new hit single called Die Young. There is no music video yet for the new Kesha tune, but I have listened to the song very many times.
It's probably my favorite Kesha song, my favorite part is the chorus and I'm still trying to figure out my thoughts on the rest of the song. The verses have a rap style to them, which Kesha does well.
A fun fact about Kesha I figured out her real name is Kesha, but unlike her stage name there is no dollar sign in her birth name.
Please tell me what you think of the new Kesha hit and also what your favorite Kesha song is.

Movie Monday: Pitch Perfect

I saw this with my sister earlier this month. We have been so excited about this movie before and even now after we saw it. I laughed the whole time, fat Amy was definitely the funniest character.
Pitch Perfect is about an all girl singing group, they go to competition against their college's all boy singing group. Anna Kendrick's character Becca is the new girl who tries to turn the Bella's into a new modern version.
My favorite scene in the movie is when the Bella's go in the back alley looking place and sing against the other college's singing groups. Becca takes center stage in a rap battle against the all boy group.
Over all I think the movie is definitely a big hit and I'm very happy I got to see it. Go watch the movie you are gonna laugh your butt off.

Show Sunday: Emily Owens M.D

I have to be honest the commercials for this new CW show were awful. I thought this was going to be a annoying stupid show, but it's not.
Emily Owens is a new surgeon at a hospital in Denver, along with her Med School crush, her high school enemy, a lesbian who is Emily's new friend, and Emily's role model who turns out to be a mean doctor. The show has only had one episode that has aired already. I have watched that episode three times, it's just so funny and entertaining.
My favorite scene so far is where Emily is stuck with discharge papers for a little girl who faints a lot, the little girl and Emily get to know each other and you get to see Emily's loving and fun side.
So far this show is great and I can't wait for episode two, I'm so excited.

Samm's Saturday: YouTube Artists

My obsession is YouTube, I spend about 70% of my time on YouTube. Watching artists sing covers and original songs is what I watch on YouTube the most. Today on this fine Saturday night I am going to give you my favorite and least favorite YouTube Artists. I will be doing YouTube unknowns very often because I love spreading the word on my favorite singers and songwriters who have an amazing talent that isn't being heard enough.

Before I get into all of that I wanted to tell you that on YouTube, I love when it's original. Not pre-recorded and then put on a video or anything like that. Most YouTube Artists these days upload songs that way. Which is the way it is, but if I could choose I would choose that these artists record live without all that fancy stuff.
Now getting into my least favorite YouTube Artist. My least favorite is sabrinavaz1. Sabrina is a girl who does a lot of new popular radio hits. Sabrina's voice is to forced and doesn't have a lot of change to her voice. Sabrina is young and pretty all she needs are a few more voice lessons. I wish that Sabrina would do more soft laid back type videos, instead of her yelling the song as a record over her dancing in a tube top, with dragon nails.
Now for  my favorite YouTube artist, this decision for one was very hard, mostly because I have a bunch to choose from so I am giving you two.
Number 1 is Kait Weston, Kait is a very fun and talented singer. She has range and vocals that are outstanding. Kait does a bunch of covers with her cousin Sean Scanlon. Both are amazing and talented. Please do go check them out, you won't be sorry.
Number 2 is Megan Faria, Megan is a new artist I heard and fell in love with since the very beginning. She is so normal, that's a weird way to put it, but you can tell when listening to her and hearing her voice, that she has potential to be someone incredible. An amazing singer and songwriter, but also a great person to her fans and everyone around her.
I don't know these people and I may not be giving an accurate review about them, but I am giving my opinion on their music.
Go check out my top two and tell me yours.

Fashion Friday: Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish

I am a girl and an advantage of being a girl is getting to paint your finger nails and definitely your toe nails. I try and paint my nails a different color every time I re paint them. I have been trying new brands that have are bigger and better then the cheap stuff that doesn't last very long.
A new nail polish I have found that I am obsessed with is Maybelline Color Show. It goes on perfectly, they have fun colors, and it's pretty affordable.
I have the Green with Envy, it's a mint color, that is also in the picture above. I painted the mint color on my toes and it has lasted for about 3 weeks now. Soon I'll be painting my fingernails with that color.
I can't wait to try other colors soon, I want to know your favorite color from this collection.

Theme Thursday: Pretty Little Liars Books

Theme Thursday this month of October is Pretty Little Liars. I may be doing this Theme again, but because of the fact that there are two Thursdays left in October. This Thursday i will be talking on my opinion on the books and next Thursday I will be talking about the show.
The books are my favorite, they are written by Sara Shepard. I have read 5 out of 14 books. The first arc of books hold Pretty Little Liars, Flawless, Perfect, and Unbelievable. Sara Shepard wrote Pretty Little Secrets a book about the winter break between the books Unbelievable and Wicked. Wicked, Killer, Heartless, and Wanted are part of the second arc. The third and final arc of Pretty Little Liars books contain Twisted, Ruthless, Stunning, and Burned.
Sara Shepard is releasing a Prequel called Ali's Pretty Little Liars in January of 2013.
I'm a big fan of reading and Pretty Little Liars is so far one of my favorite series. Although I haven't read a lot of the books in this series I do like it more then the show.
I have read a few differences in the books then there are in the show. The characters are differently describe then you see in the show, the story line is much different then whats going on in the show.
My favorite book in this series so far, is definitely Unbelievable. A lot happens in Unbelievable, the stalker who has been sending anonymous texts to Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Emily since Ali's funeral is reveled.
I'm going to be reading Wicked very soon and I'll be sure to let you know how that goes.
Make sure to comment with your favorite book and character from the Pretty Little Liars book series.

Weirdo Wednesday: Britney Spears

This is the exact same face when I hear Britney Spears on X Factor.
I have been a huge fan of X Factor this season, the singers and bands that come onto X Factor have been pretty good. I am a big Demi Lovato fan and Simon Cowell has been my favorite judge since his days on American Idol, but Britney Spears has to go.
Britney Spears talks a lot and when she comments on someone's audition she is very slow and annoying. Britney Spears barely gives a reason for her not liking someone, when she says no it usually is two or three words.
Throughout every episode I have seen she looks and sounds high, it definitely disappoints me because I was always a fan of her music.
You don't hear anything these days about Britney Spears in the magazines or on the internet, I'm not sure if that's good and it means that she has finally become a good mom to her boys and has finally gotten her act together, or if it means that nobody cares anymore.
Britney has talent, adorable children, and a fiance who is always around, at least longer then the last one. I hope that she changes a little bit because when she starts to talk on X Factor I just want to mute the TV. Anyone else agree?

Tunes Tuesday: Blow Me (One Last Kiss)

I am not a fan of this song, Pink's voice sounds very awkward in this song. It goes super high and it gives me a headache. At parts of the new hit single I can't understand what Pink is saying, sounds foreign. I usually am a fan of Pink's music, but this one makes me sad because it's annoying and awful.
The music video is all in black in white with an occasional red color splash. The beginning of the video has credits that aren't in English which bothers me.
I'm not sure what this song is about besides the fact the Pink is having a really bad day. She is with a man until he takes a phone call, then that same man purposes to a different girl. Poor Pink can't catch a break, but just so you know walking around in lingerie isn't going to make anything better.
I don't get the music video and the song is not my favorite. Do you like it?

Movie Monday: What to Expect When You're Expecting

I'm just going to get straight to my opinion on this comedy. I did not like it, like I thought I would. It was stupid humor that I didn't find funny at all, and it was kind of disgusting.
This movie is about a bunch of people who don't really know each other at all, getting pregnant and adopting and so forth. Some of the new mom's find being pregnant easy and remain beautiful, while other new mom's can't stand being pregnant any longer. Each couple in the movie represents a different type of couple, but they all have one thing in common, they are all going through a lot of ups and downs in this film.
My favorite couple in the film would probably have to be Jennifer Lopez and Rodrigo Santoro, they are adopting a new child from Ethiopia. Throughout the movie they argue, have financial problems, and doubts about becoming new parents. Rodrigo Santoro's character, Alex joins a dad club. He meets other dad's and learns stories about what happened to their children when they are in charge.
The dad's club was my favorite part of the movie, featuring Chris Rock, Thomas Lennon, Rod Huebel, and Amir Talai. They were incredibly funny together and had some interested yet funny lines. Chris Rock's son Jordan is seen throughout the movie with something new broken every time. The first time he has a patch on his forehead, then it's a sling, and at the end a cast on his arm. Although the boy has no lines in the movie, he is one of my favorite characters.
My least favorite character in the movie is Elizabeth Banks' character Wendy, while usually I am a huge Elizabeth Banks fan, this movie she plays a depressed and disgusting pregnant lady.
The commercial show a much better movie then the film itself, but there are also some good points in the movie I enjoyed. The first part of the movie is about getting to know the characters and their stories, the middle of the movie is about the characters realizing pregnancy isn't as glamorous as you hope, but then at the end you see joy and happiness with all the new families.
I want your opinion on the film, who was your favorite and least favorite character.

Fashion Friday: Fall Scents from Bath and Body Works

My favorite place to shop for lotion and perfume is Bath and Body Works. I love the scents that the body spray has and I love the way the lotion feels.
Right now I'm using the Dreamy Vanilla Woods it's a limited edition fall scent. To be honest I like the scent, but to an extent. The spray is good, but I'm not sure how much I like it. The lotion is nice, but the body wash has a weird punch to it I am not a fan of. I wouldn't recommend this fragrance to anyone, it smelt better at the store. It's a subtle scent when your smelling it in the bottle, but once your applying it you can't stop smelling it and then after that you can't smell it anymore.
I want to try the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin and the Honey Autumn Apple. I feel like the Brown Sugar Fin will be the same type of thing as the Dreamy Vanilla Woods.
Lets just say I'm slightly disappointed and I really want a refund, next time I think I'll try the small bottles first.
Tell me what your favorite Fall Bath and Body Works scent is, because I need new recommendations?

Theme Thursday: All American Girl

All American Girl is my favorite Carrie Underwood music video. Carrie Underwood wears 26 different outfits including the same leather look that she wears in before he cheats.
I like this music video because of all the different looks she wears, she is singing about an All American Girl and she is looking like one too.
The twenty six looks that Carrie Underwood wears in the music video are: American olympic swimmer, an artist/painter, a nurse, a photographer, a cowgirl, a waitress, a ballerina, a chef, a cheerleader, a veterinarian, a beauty queen, a mother, a football player, a police officer, a teacher, a graduate, a college student, a bride, a flight attendant, a news anchor, an astronaut, a firefighter, a soldier, a surgeon, the President of the United States, and her Before He Cheats character.
My favorite look would probably be the Veterinarian. I like that one best because it shows a side of Carrie Underwood that is real, no she's not a vet but she loves animals. Specially her dog Ace who wore a pink tux to the country star's wedding in 2009 to hockey hunk Mike Fisher.
Carrie Underwood not only wore a wedding dress to her wedding, but also in the music videos for Just a Dream, All American Girl, and Mama's song.
What is your favorite Carrie Underwood music video?
