Every year in the past I have written or thought about resolutions. Things I wanted to stop or start after the clock struck twelve. This year my boyfriend, Austin and I have decided we want to make goals. Which means I said I have an idea and he didn't hate the idea. So we went to the grocery store on our way to a new years eve party and bought a notebook. We each wrote down our own goals in his car in a specs parking lot. It was a great start to a beautiful tradition. Most of our goals are things we hope to accomplish, like go away to college together, get in to nursing school for me, go to church together every Sunday which we tried to do last year but then life kind of took over by the end.
Some of my other personal goals were to learn a new language or two, travel more, finally start my novel and as a semi joke was to get engaged to Austin. He laughed slightly, but he knew I was serious in a way.
For 2016 I want to find a new hobby, a new place, and a new friend. While I also fall back in love with an old hobby, go back to an old place, and reconnect with an old friend.
If you have resolutions of your own I would love to hear them but I also hope that you stick to them and this year will be all that you hope for.

what is hidden..
I have been wrestling with the idea of deleting my old blog posts or just erasing this blog all together. That gets me thinking, why would I delete it? Because people won't know, because I want to hide that part of my life. Isn't that why everyone loves the internet...so the world can see the real you, but instead we try to hide behind filters in our instagram pictures, secret boards on pinterest, drafts on twitter, and deleting our emotions and middle school photos that are somehow still on facebook. Well I'm going to change that because even though I have changed and this blog is changing with me. My old posts just like everything else about me makes me, me. Or at least some part of me at some time..
And let's be honest you can re-read them and laugh..because that is what I'll be doing.
Here is a short disclaimer that goes along with this post very well. I'm not gonna hide the fact that I have no sense of punctuation. I must have been sick that day in elementary school. However I do love to write and therefore I'm going to write. So I hope you read my blog because you somehow relate to me or at least the words I type.

DIY Headphones
Hey y'all I'm back. I realize I have been gone forever, but I'm back and changing things up a bit. I will no longer have set days and will just be blogging about whatever whenever. I am always up for ideas if you have any comment down below.
Today I am going to be blogging about a DIY project I attempted at.
Today I am going to be blogging about a DIY project I attempted at.
This is what the picture that I found on my pinterest looks like. I know you're thinking to yourself, what I good idea, I'm gonna try that. Stop right there. Let me tell you a few cons to this neat DIY project.
1. I needed four different colors of embroidery floss. Which is a lot of string and that still wasn't enough. So my headphones don't go up all the way they stop probably about three fingers beneath the ear bud.
2. It gets tangled and then the string breaks. At least mine did.
3. It takes forever. On the website I found my tutorial, it said 6 hours. Mine took a lot longer then 6 hours.
Okay so my advice would to not do it, but I'm thinking about trying my other headphones. I know I'm probably crazy but it looks really cool and they don't get tangled.
Have you tried it? Please tell me your thoughts below.

Movie Monday: Deck the Halls
Favorite Christmas movie of all time is definitely Deck the Halls. If you haven't seen this movie, you need to go to the store and pick you up a copy.
Okay in reality it isn't that good of a movie, but I don't know why watching this movie completes my Christmas. It is about a man who lives a normal life, but is obsessed with Christmas. He gets a new neighbor and they do this whole fighting thing the whole movie over celebrating Christmas. It ends with them having a Christmas lights battle sorta.
Deck the Halls has some really good stars in the movie. Danny Devito who is from Matilda and Matthew Broderick who play Ferris Bueller in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, play the fighting neighbors. Their wives are played by Kristin Davis and Kristin Chenoweth who I am a big fan of.
This movie makes me laugh every time and I definitely recommend it to everyone. I want to know what your all time favorite Christmas movie is.

Tunes Tuesday: Last Christmas
My favorite Christmas song is Last Christmas which is originally done by Wham!. This is a very popular cover song. Some of the cover artists include, Ashley Tisdale, Billie Piper, Hilary Duff, Crazy Frog, The Maine, and Taylor Swift. That is just a third of the famous artists who have covered this song.
My favorite cover of the song is Taylor Swift's version, it has more of a pop feel then Wham!'s version and it's a very fun song to blast and sing along to.
If you are not a fan of Taylor Swift there is a girl I watch on YouTube name Bailie who does a cover of Taylor Swift's version of Last Christmas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dE3EfRjf8E Bailie's YouTube name is Pawsonmagic and you should definitely check her out. Last Christmas is probably my favorite cover that she has done. I even think it's better then Taylor Swift's version.
I want your thoughts on the song and your favorite cover of Last Christmas.

Fashion Friday: Christmas Sweaters
Winter means all sorts of things, one of the things being Christmas sweaters, which nobody looks forward to. This year I have seen a bunch of cute Christmas sweaters. No they don't have flickering lights or a laughing reindeer. They are very simple, but still festive and I am definitely going to have to get one of these sweaters.
Each are different and not tacky Christmas. My favorite is the last one, but it is more expensive out of the three. I love love sweaters during the winter. You wear it over a pair of leggings(if the sweater is long enough to cover you) and you are all set.
I hope you like these sweaters. I found them on Wanelo.com it is a very cool fun website for shopping. This is my link for Wanelo.com http://wanelo.com/omgitsmesammy

Reading Wednesday: Thirteen Reasons Why
Jay Asher is one of my favorite writers. His writing is easy to follow, but also very much in depth of that person's life or what the book is about.
My favorite book by Jay Asher is Thirteen Reasons Why. Thirteen Reasons Why is about Hannah Baker who committed suicide. She sends out a package of cassette tapes each with a message to one person who had betrayed or hurt her in one way. Clay Jensen is who the book is mostly about. Clay Jensen listening to the tapes and his relationship with Hannah Baker.
This book is a very interesting read because crazy things happen. You find out what the thirteen people did to Hannah Baker to make her commit suicide and also what Clay Jensen had to do with Hannah's suicide.
Thirteen Reasons Why is going to be made into a movie with Selena Gomez playing Hannah Baker. I'm very excited to watch this movie, although I already know that the book is going to much better then the movie. Cause books usually are.
Another good Jay Asher read is the Future of Us.

Tunes Tuesday: Mistletoe by Justin Bieber
Last year Justin Bieber came out with a Christmas album featuring the song Mistletoe.
This is a very cute Christmas song, Justin is singing about missing all of the Christmas traditions because he is waiting underneath the mistletoe for his girl.
Now I am not a die hard Justin Bieber fan, so I went onto YouTube last year to try and find other talented singers covering this song.
I am a big fan of Cimorelli it is a group of 6 sisters who are great at harmonizing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOyBqO7SVe8 that is a link to the group singing Mistletoe by Justin Bieber. I love this video it shows the girls personality and their little brother Joey plays a great Santa.
Another one is Ebony Day's cover here is a link to her video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-3ZzDvd50g I like Ebony Day's version best because of the tempo of the song is a little different then the original.
That's all I have for Mistletoe covers, but I want y'all to go to YouTube and find your favorite Mistletoe cover and post it in the comments. I will watch all of them.

Movie Monday: Elf
Okay so for the month of December I am going to be doing a lot of Christmas themed things. I apologize if you don't celebrate Christmas, but I hope you still enjoy.
Today I am talking about Elf. One of the world's favorite Christmas movies of all time.
Elf is about Buddy the Elf, he was raised in the North Pole with Santa. Until Buddy figures out he was adopted and goes to New York to find his real father. Buddy tries to bring Christmas cheer to all of the world and his father.
I love this movie and I watch it at least once every Christmas. It is so funny and cute, it is also a great family movie. Buddy the Elf is played by Will Ferrell and you know it's going to be very funny with Will Ferrell as the main man. Starring along side Will Ferrell is one of my favorite actresses Zooey Deschanel.
If you haven't seen this movie or even if you haven't go watch it and always remember. The best way to spread Christmas cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!

Fashion Friday: Fit Me Foundation
Okay guys I have some good news for everyone out there. I have been using the Cover Girl foundation clear skin or something to that effect. I wasn't a huge fan of this stuff because it was very heavy on my skin, but I ran out so I tried the new Maybelline Fit Me foundation. I have to tell you this is the greatest foundation I have tried so far. It is very light it goes on more smooth and I can barely feel it when it's on my face. I love this foundation because it has great converge on my skin because unfortunately I wasn't blessed with flawless skin.
Now all I need is a great bronzer to go with this foundation and then I'm all set.
My shade is 135 and it blends in nicely with my skin tone. It irritates me when my neck and face are different colors. A tip for you if your face does not match your neck after putting on foundation. When you are applying your foundation rub it in underneath your chin. Same with bronzer or powder, and I also run my powder down my neck a little to make my skin look nice and even.

Theme Thursday: The Pretty Committee
Okay now I have already talked about Massie Block. Today I am going to talk about the rest of the girls in the Pretty Committee. My favorites and least favorites.
First is the beta who wants nothing more, but to be alpha and take over the Pretty Committee. Alicia Rivera, the richest in the PC. She loves to tell and hear gossip and eventually she is the made the morning announcer at OCD.
Then there is Dylan Marvil, her mother has her own talk show. Dylan has two annoying sisters, but Dylan doesn't fit in with her family. Unlike the rest of the Marvils, Dylan likes to eat and burp.
Kristen Gregory is the poor girl in the book series. She acts as if she fits in with the rest of the PC, she wears designer clothes and acts like she lives in a fancy expensive place. The PC finally figures out Kristen's secret in the beginning of the series. Kristen plays sports and is very intelligent.
Last, but definitely not least is the new girl from Florida Claire Lyons. Claire moves into the Block's guest house, which helps Claire become good friends with Massie and the rest of the PC. Claire in the only member of the PC who has a friend who isn't a PC member. Layne Abeley is the weird girl at OCD, but Claire's best friend. Cam Fisher is Claire's boyfriend for pretty much the whole book series.

Reading Wednesday: The Carrie Diaries
The Carrie Diaries is one of my favorite recent reads. I love Candace Bushnell's writing, it's fun, but she writes as if she was there.
Candace Bushnell is the author of Sex in the City. Carrie Diaries is about Carrie Bradshaw in high school. It is a series (I think), as of right now there are two books out The Carrie Diaries and Summer in the City. Carrie Bradshaw is a fun senior with best friends (who aren't in Sex in the City which I thought was weird). Sebastian Kydd is Carrie's love interest in the book. He is the regular new bad boy to the school.
I really liked the Carrie Diaries and I started the Summer in the City, but couldn't get into it. So when I read that one I will definitely tell you how it is.
Definitely give this book a shot and before January 14 because that is when the Pilot episode of The Carrie Diaries airs on the CW.

Sup guys Samm's brother Chris here. Today I'm going to tell you why you need to check out the greatest British band You Me At Six.
I've been in to them since about 2008 but until about a year ago is when I really got into them. You Me At Six is five lads from Weybridge, Surrey and the band formed in 2004. While being a big deal in the UK, the guys struggled on some of the past Warped tours that they played. Although this past 2012 Warped Tour they drew in some pretty big crowds and have really had some big jumps in the U.S.A for fans.
I went to this past tour got to meet the YMAS lads and when I saw their set I ended up crowd surfing for the first time. It was a really sick experience. I really do suggest that anyone reading this go check these guys out. They have three studio albums(1. Take Off Your Colours, 2. Hold Me Down, 3. Sinners Never Sleep) and all are different, but still have the You Me At Six sound that everyone loves to hear.
The first album i suggest people to check out is Hold Me Down. I believe that this album is their most radio friendly record. My favorite song by the band has to be Jealous minds Think Alike off the Take Off Your Coulours record.
I hope you have all enjoyed this brief blog on You Me At Six. If you are in the London area on December 8th then go to Wembley Arena and watch YMAS Final Night Of Sin show. Or be like me and order the live DVD from that nights show.
Keep the Vibe Rockin

Movie Monday: Silver Linings Playbook
Happy Monday everyone. I'm sorry about my absence this past week, but I am back and today I am telling you about my new movie obsession. Silver Linings Playbook is the one. I went to see it this past week and I was very excited to see the movie. For two reasons: Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. I am in love with these two and this is my favorite movie from both of them.
Silver Linings Playbook has comedy and drama. I'm not sure what genre this is classified as, but in my few I would put it in the dark comedy. Which makes no sense at all, but go watch the movie and tell me what genre you should put this movie in.
Now this movie is about Bradley's Cooper character Pat just comes back from a mental institute. Where he served time for almost beating a man to death after finding him in the shower with his wife. Pat meets Jennifer Lawrence's character, Tiffany who knows Pat's ex wife, after agreeing to a deal Pat has to perform with Tiffany at a dance competition.
My favorite part of the movie was Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper's on set chemistry. It was perfect and felt real.
Tell me what you thought of the movie down below in the comments.

Show Sunday: Full House
If you were anything like me when you were growing up you wanted to be a Tanner. After school I would come home and watch that show until it was time for me to go to gymnastics.
Full House is a sitcom about the Tanner family, DJ, Stephanie, Michelle were being raised by their dad, uncle Jesse, and dad's best friend Joey after their mothers death. Throuhout the series which consisted of 8 seasons you meet different characters. Jesse's wife and kids, DJ's best friend Kimmy Kibler who lives next door and Steve DJ's boyfriend for some time.
This show is a great family show, full of laughs and tears and even some moments that every family goes through now and again.
I love all 8 seasons of this show, but later on in the series it does start to get better. The characters develope and get older and their acting does get better.
The end of this series was a little dissappointing just like any series finale of a really good show would be. Unfortunately the cast never got back together do have a reunion show which is sad, because I love when shows do that. I think Full House should have a reunion episode just to see what the characters are doing.
Go watch this show if you haven't already and tell me your thoughts about it below in the comments.

Theme Thursday: The Clique Movie
The movie is good, but the acting isn't the great. It kind of seems like this is all of the main actresses first movie. The unknown actors and actresses was actually something I liked about this movie. This movie wasn't a big expensive production, but it definitely represents the Clique book very well.
I would recommend reading the book series before you watch the movie, if you are interested in this movie at all.

Fashion Friday: Max Factor Vivid Impact Mascara
I have been using Max Factor Vivid Impact Mascara for some time now and I have loved this product. In the picture above the blue color looks like a bright royal blue, when in reality or at least the one I have is a navy blue.
The color is really pretty on my eyes. When you finish your look off with the pink highlighting topcoat your lashes look long and fierce.
Before I used this product I used the Maybelline Great Lash mascara, which I didn't hate, but the Maybelline mascara seem to go on my lashes very clumpy. Where as the Max Factor mascara's brush has a bunch of little bristles which is perfect for your lashes to go on without clumping.
My mom got me this product at Albertson's which was closing down and she got it for very cheap. I have looked online on Sephora and Max Factor's websites. The only place I can find this product is on Amazon, for about $5 without shipping, total it won't be anymore then $10.
